Maryjo Tucker, a resident of Asheville, North Carolina, and an organizer with the Helene Survivors Committee says FEMA has been evicting thousands of Hurricane Helene survivors from its hotel voucher program even sooner than its stated deadline. Trump announced on his tour of Helene-stricken parts of North Carolina that he may get rid of FEMA entirely. Tucker says survivors will keep fighting until they get relief.
