Venezuelan journalist Andreína Chávez Alava reports from Caracas after U.S. strikes and the kidnapping of President Maduro, describing how communities are coming together, listening to authorities, and preparing to “resist in the streets” while showing solidarity. She calls the attack “an illegal U.S. bombing against a civilian population” and a clear attempt at regime change, exposing Washington’s goal to control Venezuela’s political life and oil resources. Chávez warns this is just the beginning of a broader U.S. campaign in Latin America, calling it “another Monroe Doctrine” and pledging to “continue denouncing by every means necessary” the assault on Venezuela.
