Republicans rammed through a bill that slashes food aid, healthcare, and basic support for the country’s poorest and working-class Americans, in order to hand $114 billion tax breaks to the richest 1 percent in a single year. Hanauer will discuss the implications of what is set to be the largest wealth transfer in US history.
