Facing their exclusion from ceasefire negotiations — and from defining the postwar balance of power – Israelis are circulating meaningless petitions demanding a seat at the table and Beirut is literally begging J.D. Vance to oust Iran from theirs. But as BT Live’s Rania Khalek explains, the region really has no choice but to accept a Lebanon where Iran has influence and Hezbollah is powerful. And if Israel is ultimately forced to withdraw from Lebanon’s south, “anyone with a brain is going to understand that is the doing of Iran.”
