He is a professor of journalism at The University of Memphis, where he heads the graduate program in Open Source Investigative Reporting.   Rana Roudi is a multimedia journalist based in New York City. She reports on global human rights, conflict, and immigration. She graduated from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in 2025.
