A quiet surge in anti-immigrant operations in US cities is racking up a body count: Days after the fatal ICE traffic stop shootings of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo in Houston and Joan Sebastian Guerrero in Biddeford, Maine, a 28-year-old Mexican man in St. Augustine, Florida, was hit by a truck and killed while fleeing a DHS encounter at a gas station. The Trump administration fears a repeat of Minneapolis’ general strike; ANSWER Coalition immigration activist Karina Garcia joins the show as communities demand ICE out of everywhere and mobilize to fight back. 

Cuba is experiencing the most intense energy crisis in its history. Fuel shortages and island-wide blackouts caused by the US’ total blockade — including the fifth total grid collapse this year — leave hospitals struggling to function and millions without power for hours on end.
