US airstrikes on more than 170 targets in Iran starting Tuesday – day 4 of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s massive and defiant funeral procession across Iran and Iraq – and Tehran’s retaliation in the Gulf have reignited global concerns about a return to all-out war. Is this a win for Marco Rubio’s neocon camp in Washington, getting the carnage it can’t get enough of? As most of MAGA now says they want the war to end as soon as possible, will voter outrage at the gas pump push Congress to act on the war powers resolution it passed to rein in the president?
